About Samiti

Our Heritage and Vision

With over 56 years of experience in the field of education and child development, Shri Purnanand Vidya Niketan Samiti is a registered charitable society committed to nurturing young minds and building a strong foundation for future generations.

The journey of the Samiti began in February 1963, when Shri Jugal Kishore, the then Education Minister of Uttar Pradesh and a devoted disciple of Swami Janardan Ji Paramhans, laid the foundation stone of a school at Muni Ki Reti, Rishikesh. Guided by the values of holistic education and spiritual growth, the institution soon gained recognition for its quality and impact.

– In 1980, the school was recognized by the government as a high school.

– In 1987, it achieved the status of an intermediate college.

Institutions Managed by the Samiti

Today, Shri Purnanand Vidya Niketan Samiti successfully operates three prominent institutions in the region, each upholding the vision of providing value-based and quality education:

Shri Purnanand Public School – Established in 2016, this CBSE-affiliated institution blends academic excellence with spiritual and value-based learning.
Shri Purnanand Inter College – The founding institution, set up in 1963, continues to serve as a pillar of traditional and modern education.
Swami Purnanand Degree College of Technical Education – Founded in 2012, this college aims to empower students through professional and technical education.
