Some days in school are remembered for years—not because they are routine, but because they bring everyone together in celebration, pride, and joy. 21st February 2026 was one such unforgettable day at Shri Purnanand Public School, as the campus lit up with excitement for Annual Day 2026.
From the very beginning, there was a different kind of energy in the air. Students arrived with चमकती आँखें and nervous smiles, parents filled the venue with warmth and anticipation, and teachers moved around ensuring everything was just perfect. It wasn’t just an event—it felt like a celebration of an entire year of hard work, growth, and creativity.
The presence of the Honourable Minister of Forest, Uttarakhand, as the Chief Guest added a special significance to the occasion. Their presence not only elevated the event but also inspired students, reminding them that dedication and discipline can lead to great heights.
As the कार्यक्रम began, the stage transformed into a world of colors and stories. Performances by students—whether dance, drama, or cultural presentations—were filled with passion and confidence. Some students performed with ease, while others showed the courage to step onto the stage for the very first time. And in those moments, every small step felt like a big achievement.
One of the most beautiful sights of the evening was watching parents in the audience—smiling, recording videos, clapping with pride, and sometimes even getting emotional. It was a reminder that Annual Day is not just about performances; it’s about celebrating effort, growth, and the journey of every child.
Behind the scenes, teachers played an incredible role—guiding, encouraging, and sometimes calming nervous students. Their dedication quietly shaped every performance that the audience enjoyed.
As the photographer and videographer for the event, I had a unique perspective. While capturing the performances on stage, I also found myself drawn to the moments in between—the laughter backstage, last-minute rehearsals, a teacher fixing a costume, or a child taking a deep breath before going on stage. These are the moments that truly define an event, and I feel lucky to have captured them.
By the end of the evening, the applause, the smiles, and the sense of accomplishment were everywhere. Annual Day 2026 wasn’t just a function—it was a celebration of talent, teamwork, and the spirit of togetherness that defines Shri Purnanand Public School.
Some events end when the lights go off—but this one will stay alive in memories, photographs, and hearts for a long time.
